Delivery Support for Retailers, Galleries and Makers
Your work does not end at the sale when a customer still needs help getting a purchase home. Sterling Oakbridge welcomes new relationships with shops, galleries, furniture makers and designers looking for practical delivery support.
Bring us a single purchase, occasional delivery requests or a recurring need. We will review the items, geography, access and finishing work so the arrangement matches what you and your customers actually need.
Who we can help
Furniture retailers & makers
Showroom purchases, commissioned pieces and flat-pack furniture, with collection, room placement and agreed assembly.
Galleries & artists
Purchased artwork and sculptural objects, with the packing and handling assessed for the actual piece.
Outdoor-furniture dealers
Patio and garden furniture, with the route to a deck, terrace or outdoor receiving area included in the plan.
Designers & project teams
Individual deliveries or a reviewed receiving and release plan when a project has several suppliers and dates.
A practical way to work together
- 01
Tell us how your business works
Share the items you sell, usual collection location, customer destinations and the kind of support you need.
- 02
Agree the work and responsibilities
Identify who books and pays, who authorizes release, what the seller prepares and who receives the delivery.
- 03
Confirm each delivery
Review the item, route, date, access and any packing or assembly. The written estimate sets out the agreed work.
Keep the arrangement clear
A useful relationship starts with clear items, responsibilities and expectations. We review the work before confirming a delivery.
A clear release and receiving plan
Your team or the buyer arranges the seller’s release and supplies the contacts and instructions. Confirm the actual collection address, readiness and receiving contact before a job is booked.
Services matched to the item
Collection, protection, transport, carrying and placement can be reviewed together. Complex assembly, specialist packing, storage and other additional stages are quoted for the requested work.
Local and farther destinations
Send the addresses and date constraints. Local, regional and long-distance delivery have different travel and receiving requirements; suitable small shipments can also be reviewed for consolidated delivery.
Terms agreed for the relationship
Pricing, the paying party, invoicing arrangements and any recurring-work terms are discussed for your business. Sending an introduction does not book a delivery or accept a commercial agreement.
Introduce your business
Tell us what you sell and where delivery becomes difficult. We can discuss the support that fits your business.
Questions before you get in touch
Do we need a large volume of deliveries to enquire?
No. Tell us whether you need help with one purchase, occasional deliveries or recurring work. We can review the task without assuming a volume commitment.
Can the customer book and pay directly?
That arrangement can be discussed. Identify who requests the estimate, authorizes the work and pays before the delivery is booked; do not assume a billing arrangement from the initial introduction.
Can you collect from our workshop instead of the showroom?
Yes, the collection plan can use the agreed release location. Send its address, access details, order information, readiness and the person who will meet the crew.
Can delivery include assembly or art packing?
We can review those tasks with the items and instructions. Basic furniture assembly uses moving labor time; complex assembly and specialist art packing are individually quoted. Packaging removal is charged separately.
Do you offer fixed partner discounts or referral commissions?
Commercial terms are agreed individually. This page does not publish a standard discount, commission or guaranteed delivery schedule.
Can we ask about delivery beyond our local area?
Yes. Send the pickup and destination areas and any receiving deadlines. We can review a local, regional or long-distance arrangement, including consolidated delivery for a suitable small shipment.
