Junk Removal & Disposal in Southampton, NY

An old television can need to leave before replacement. A dresser may have no place in a smaller home. Garage storage can stay unused until an interstate move. Sterling Oakbridge helps plan agreed carrying and disposal in Southampton as a stand-alone visit or moving-day add-on. Before booking, establish the actual work, appropriately permitted waste transportation, required vehicle documents and accepting receiver in the written estimate.

Put useful belongings first in the moving budget

Disposal can save the cost of handling things the next household no longer needs. Compare removal and any necessary replacement with avoidable preparation, carrying, packing, shipment capacity, unloading, storage and later disposal. Keep valued and useful pieces. Confirm the revised inventory and written scope before relying on a saving: excluding an item does not automatically reduce an existing flat quote.

A moving date does not arrange waste collection. The responsible town and collector have their own bulky dates and exclusions, while drop-off access depends on the actual vehicle and permit. A building's bins or an ordinary garbage subscription may not cover a refrigerator, mattress or furniture clearance. Confirm the property and collector's actual instructions before leaving anything out. An unwanted object still needs a receiving decision and someone to get it there.

Look first for repair, a committed recipient or an eligible household arrangement that can meet the deadline. Suitable reuse can avoid unnecessary disposal. A tentative offer to collect next month does not clear the room before tomorrow's delivery, and a recycling address does not supply indoor labor. Compare complete options rather than assuming the cheapest receiving charge solves access, transportation and timing.

Southampton’s older homes, managed residences and coastal properties can have different carrying routes and waste arrangements. Confirm the actual property and its collector rather than assuming every building has the same service. Show a basement stair, narrow turn, shared doorway, long driveway or actual legal vehicle position. Do not assume a large lot makes every approach suitable for a loaded truck. The Southampton moving guide covers broader relocation planning; the removal estimate should describe this property's selected items and carrying route.

Send an item list with the access photographs

Include quantities, dimensions, approximate weight, condition, room and floor. Show stairs, thresholds, doors and the distance to vehicle access. State who authorizes removal, which belongings remain and the date the space must be clear. A new appliance order, property handover or interstate departure makes the deadline important without creating an automatic collection appointment.

Identify connections, batteries, liquids, contamination and unknown contents before the visit. A freestanding piece differs from fixed equipment requiring a qualified disconnect. A garage can contain household objects, fuels and tools that need separate decisions. Keep uncertain ownership, papers, valuables and sold items outside the removal group until their owners have decided.

  • Furniture removal. Sofas, armchairs, dressers, tables and bookcases. Identify each piece, its dimensions, the carrying route and whether a recipient or removal has been agreed.
  • Mattress disposal. Used mattresses and box springs after a bed replacement or downsizing. Give the size, quantity and condition; disclose pest concerns and confirm covering instructions and an accepting destination.
  • Appliance removal. Refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers and microwaves. Give the model and utility preparation. Refrigerant appliances need a suitable receiving chain; appliance removal does not include utility disconnection or installation unless separately confirmed.
  • E-waste and electronics. Televisions, monitors, computers and associated covered equipment. Confirm the exact device and approved electronics route. An appliance and a covered electronic device can follow different disposal programs.
  • Gym equipment. Treadmills, exercise bikes, weight benches and loose weights. Identify weight, stairs, dismantling, screens and embedded batteries before choosing the carrying and receiving plan.
  • Outdoor items. Worn patio furniture, loose play equipment and unwanted garden equipment. Describe fuel, batteries, anchoring and any dismantling. A fixed shed or play structure needs a separate review of permissions and work.
  • Yard waste. Branches, brush, leaves and trimmings remaining after a small clearance. Review material, quantity, bundling and the local green-waste route. Soil, stumps, fuel and equipment are different loads; garden work itself is not included automatically.
  • Light construction debris. Small quantities of loose drywall offcuts or other identified remnants from a minor repair. Send photographs, material types and quantity for acceptance review. Confirm the receiving route and charges; demolition, unknown or contaminated materials need a different plan.
  • Used packaging and floor protection. Flattened cartons, packing paper, plastic film and clean protective sheeting. Separate materials and identify contamination or attached debris. Agree the staged quantity and separately charged collection.

These categories describe requests, rather than promise acceptance of every material. Furniture, electronics, refrigerant appliances, vegetation and light repair remnants may require separate receiving arrangements. Do not add an unreviewed item at loading merely because the room is being cleared. Changing the list can change labor, capacity, preparation and the receiver.

Example 1: an old television before replacement on North Main Street

Imagine a North Main Street household replacing a television whose picture no longer works reliably. The old flat screen occupies a stand in the living room. A repair review has not produced a useful solution, and nobody has committed to collecting it. The replacement is due soon; the old television needs its own decision rather than being left beside ordinary household bags.

Ask the seller about committed take-back, including the actual device, carrying from its room and preparation. A new delivery does not arrange every old-device clearance. Check a recipient against the deadline and condition. A broken screen or unusual size can change safe handling and accepting; a tentative offer does not create room for tomorrow's replacement.

Illustrative private television review before replacement: confirm electronics receiving and indoor carrying.

The illustration shows the complete stationary television with its support and unplugged cord. It depicts private condition review, rather than an electronic device already recycled or a technical repair. Send dimensions, weight, glass condition and the full carrying route. A wall-mounted unit requires separately reviewed detachment; the freestanding example does not establish that work.

The current Town fee schedule lists resident electronics receiving separately from ordinary bulky furniture and refrigerant equipment. A resident recycling benefit does not supply indoor carrying or admit every paid truckload. Confirm the particular device, operator, vehicle and receiver before relying on a listed drop-off. Data-bearing equipment needs its owner's separate decision.

A stand-alone visit can suit replacement timing. A moving-day add-on may share mobilization when appropriate transportation, separation and receiving fit. Added labor, preparation, charges or another trip can remain necessary. Compare full estimates for the same old device and clear-by date rather than treating an available crew as a free disposal appointment.

Example 2: a dresser left out of a local downsizing move on Windmill Lane

Consider parents on Windmill Lane moving locally to a smaller home after their children have established their own households. Useful bedroom furniture is selected for the new rooms, but one ordinary three-drawer wooden dresser has no planned place. Nobody has committed to taking it. Storing the surplus indefinitely would add handling and rent without an identified future use.

Check its actual condition, dimensions and a committed recipient first. A donation programme can have its own size, condition and capacity limits. A piece that fits the old bedroom may obstruct a smaller room, but useful or valued furniture should stay in the retained list. A quick clearance should not replace a deliberate ownership and use decision.

Illustrative local downsizing inventory: review contents, future use and a committed recipient before removal.

The image shows a complete stationary dresser with closed drawer fronts, attached supports and visible wear. Closed drawers do not establish that contents are empty. Identify papers, valuables and retained belongings before preparation. Show stairs, doorway turns and the actual vehicle position so the carrying plan covers the route rather than just the room.

Town rules call for bulky furniture arrangements with the carter. Confirm the actual property's collector, selected item and timing; an ordinary bag subscription does not establish an unlimited move-out clearance. Southampton Village, the surrounding Town and another municipality sharing a postal address can have different property and programme arrangements. Identify the actual jurisdiction before choosing a route.

An add-on can coordinate removal with retained furniture when labor, suitable transport and receiving align. A separate visit can clear the old room earlier. The saving concerns avoidable storage and repeated handling, not an automatic reduction in a flat moving quote. Agree the revised inventory and complete estimate before relying on a lower total.

Example 3: unused garage storage before an interstate move on Hampton Road

Imagine a Hampton Road household preparing for Austin, Texas after eight years at the same address. An old open metal shoe rack and a worn plastic storage bin have remained in the garage without a planned use. The next home has a different storage layout. Useful tools, records and household equipment are reviewed separately rather than treating the entire garage as waste.

Inspect the actual bin contents before deciding removal. A closed lid can conceal belongings, batteries, paint or liquids that should not join an ordinary furniture group. Review the rack's construction, attachments and condition. Its metal and the bin's plastic do not establish that both are accepted through the same recycling stream; material labels still need actual receiving instructions.

Illustrative interstate inventory: compare local removal with shipping unused garage storage.

The illustration shows the complete stationary pair on a dry private garage floor with retained storage separate. It is an inventory review before handling, rather than a packed shipment or a cleared room. The rack's normal supports are part of the selected object. Confirm weight, contents and the whole exit route before agreeing carrying and separation.

For long-distance moving, forgotten low-value storage can add preparation, carrying, shipment space and unloading only to require disposal after arrival. Compare appropriate local removal and necessary replacement with those avoidable stages. Keep useful and valued belongings. There is no universal cubic-foot tariff or automatic deduction from an existing flat quote.

A visit before packing can settle the final shipment list. An add-on may coordinate the selected carrying when transport, separation and receiving hours fit the move. Another date or trip can remain necessary. Agree what leaves and what travels, then preserve that decision through packing and the final inventory review.

Other reasons to clear a room or property

The same decision can apply to local downsizing, a household separation, a temporary relative's stay, a sold home's outdoor equipment or packaging left after unpacking. Commercial office furniture, damaged gym equipment and small repair remnants need their own material and access review. State the exact contents and deadline; a room name does not identify every item to remove.

Other situations worth including in a removal request
SituationWhat needs to changeWhat to agree first
A furniture replacementA worn armchair, sofa, dresser or old table makes way for a new purchase. The old piece needs to leave before the new room layout can work.Agree removal versus retailer haul-away, access, recipient acceptance and the delivery deadline.
A television or monitor upgradeA broken or unwanted screen remains after the replacement arrives. The old device needs an approved recycling route and space needs to be cleared.Identify the model and an accepting electronics program; ordinary trash is not the route.
A local move to a smaller homeParents choose a smaller home after the children leave; spare furniture no longer fits. Avoid carrying and storing pieces that have no role in the receiving home.Use the new floor plan, a keep list, a removal list and a separately reviewed quote.
A household separatesPeople move to different homes and a shared surplus remains. Unallocated items should have a destination before the rooms are cleared.Confirm the authorized owner and each person's keep/remove instructions.
A temporary family stay endsA relative returns home and the spare bed, chair or temporary setup is no longer needed. Clear a useful room instead of keeping furniture without a future use.Verify ownership and which pieces are being returned, retained or removed.
Accumulation before a moveAfter seven to ten years, forgotten garage, attic or basement belongings reappear. Avoid packing and transporting contents that would be discarded after delivery.Sort early, photograph the group and distinguish ordinary items from special materials.
A long-distance keep-or-replace decisionBulky low-value furniture competes for space with useful, valuable or sentimental possessions. Removing unwanted bulk can avoid shipment, handling and storage costs.Compare two actual moving quotes with removal and destination replacement costs; no automatic per-cube discount.
An estate's remaining contentsAfter retained and sold pieces leave, ordinary unwanted furniture remains. The property needs to be cleared for its next agreed use.Identify the authorized representative and preserve items awaiting sale, collection or family decisions.
Rental turnover or a possession deadlineA property must be handed over after tenancy, including situations involving lawful eviction processes. Ordinary unwanted contents may prevent the agreed handover.Confirm lawful possession and authority over the items; removal is not eviction enforcement or legal advice.
An office lease endsOld desks, chairs or shelving are no longer needed in the new office. Release the old premises without moving a surplus into the new workspace.Separate business waste, IT/data decisions, landlord instructions and the commercial receiving route.
A business changes its spaceUnused shop fixtures, storage furniture or equipment need to leave. Make the leased space usable for its next purpose.Confirm the actual equipment, utilities and materials; resident-only programs do not serve business loads.
Outdoor items at a home salePatio furniture or children's outdoor items are not wanted at the next home. Clear agreed contents before move-out and property handover.Confirm the sale agreement, ownership, anchoring, item size and ordinary material acceptance.
An unwanted shed or play structureA shed or fixed children's play structure is no longer useful. It may need a separate dismantling and collection plan rather than transport to the new home.Review foundations, utilities, dismantling, permissions and receiving material limits; structural demolition is not automatically part of ordinary collection.
Broken outdoor equipmentAn old mower, grill or other outdoor equipment has stopped being useful. Avoid taking a repair or disposal problem to the new property.Identify fuel, oil, propane and batteries separately; arrange the applicable material route.
A broken household applianceA washer, refrigerator, freezer or other appliance is being replaced. The old appliance takes up receiving or working space.Review utilities, access and model; refrigerant-containing appliances need an appropriate processor.
Unused or broken gym equipmentA treadmill, exercise bike or weight system is not going to the new home. Avoid a difficult carry and shipment for equipment with no planned use.Identify weight, dismantling, stairs, electronics and any battery before quoting.
Packaging after unpackingUsed flattened cartons, paper and plastic wrapping fill the available space. Restore useful rooms and clear the agreed collection area.Group used flats in large open boxes near a clear exit; separate material types and agree the collection date.
Protective materials after renovationClean floor-protection paper or plastic film remains after work ends. The finished space needs to be made usable again.Identify contamination, wet paint or attached debris; protective packaging is not automatically construction or hazardous waste service.
A mattress or box spring replacementAn old bed surface remains after replacing a mattress or changing bed size. Clear the receiving room without carrying an unwanted bulky piece to another home.Confirm size, condition, covering instructions, local collection eligibility and accepting destination.
A prepared yard-waste pileIdentified branches, brush, leaves or trimmings remain after a small clearance. Clear agreed outdoor space before a handover or after work is finished.Confirm quantity, bundle/container rules and actual green-waste acceptance; tree work, soil and stumps are separate.
Light debris after a minor repairA small photographed quantity of identified drywall offcuts or repair remnants remains. Clear the completed room without mixing construction material into ordinary household pickup.Review the material, quantity, carrying route, charges and accepting destination; unknown or contaminated material needs a different plan.

For rental turnover or an estate, confirm ownership and authorization before work. For an office, identify retained records, customer property, leased equipment and data-bearing devices separately. A scheduled clearance is not authority to remove somebody else's belongings. Fixed structures, utility disconnects, demolition and contaminated material are separate scopes, not automatic additions to household carrying.

Compare a stand-alone visit with a moving-day add-on

A stand-alone visit has its own dispatch and removal window. It can create space before replacement delivery, clear a property before handover or settle an inventory before interstate packing. Its price depends on the selected group, labor, access, transportation, receiving and any necessary separate trip. A household drop-off fee alone is not the price of indoor service.

An add-on combines agreed carrying with the main move. It may avoid another dispatch because the crew and vehicle are already onsite. Additional labor, suitable capacity, material separation, receiving charges or another trip can remain necessary. Retained belongings and waste loads have different requirements; spare space does not establish permission to enter a facility or use a resident programme.

Compare written estimates for the same items and clear-by date. Identify dispatch, preparation or dismantling, carrying, transport, receiver fees and extra trips. Include connections or specialist work only within an agreed appropriate scope. Coordinating the schedule can save money when it avoids real work, without a fixed discount or a promise that disposal becomes free on moving day.

Southampton Village and Town programmes differ

The Town's garbage and recycling guidance states that it does not provide municipal garbage pickup. Its green-bag programme concerns ordinary household waste taken to receiving sites. A green bag is not a collection appointment or a container that turns a television, mattress or furniture clearance into ordinary household garbage.

The Town waste code calls for arranging bulky furniture and white goods with a carter. Confirm the exact property, collector, selected items, preparation and collection date. Building restrictions and private subscriptions can add their own conditions. Do not leave an unarranged group beside a receptacle because replacement delivery or a moving crew is due.

Southampton Village sits within the wider Town, whose hamlets and facilities have their own relevant locations. A postal address is not enough to establish which leaf programme or property arrangement applies. The moving guide explains broader Village access; a removal estimate should name the actual site and accepting route.

Establish the actual carter and vehicle before booking

The Town's refuse-carter programme identifies a Town waste-carter permit requirement. The waste code distinguishes carriers, commercial self-haulers and eligible resident delivery. Moving credentials alone do not establish every local waste permission, and a household's receiving entitlement does not transfer automatically to a paid operator.

Before booking, establish Sterling's actual tasks, the appropriately permitted actual hauling party, required current vehicle documents and the accepting receiver. Confirm the selected material and waste origin as part of that arrangement. The written scope should describe the real operator and receiving plan for the selected objects.

Resident permits or single-entry arrangements have their own vehicle, residency and load restrictions. Those are different from paid collection and commercial receiving. Town provisions also distinguish resident construction remnants from what a commercial garbage hauler may deposit. Do not plan a commercial load around a customer's green bags or residential vehicle permission.

New York's waste-transporter guidance separately addresses regulated material types and applicable exemptions. Ordinary household objects, hazardous material and local collector permits are different questions. Review actual tasks and contents rather than treating one document as permission for every waste stream or municipality.

Use the current receiving schedule for the actual material

The Town's current waste-management fee schedule, revised October 2026, separates resident ordinary waste, mixed bulk, appliances, mattresses, electronics and other streams. Cash-discount and card columns differ. Charges, minimums, vehicle restrictions and available facilities should be checked for the actual material; a published gate fee is not the full private removal price.

The current schedule lists resident electronics receiving at all four Town sites and resident mattress or box-spring receiving at North Sea and Hampton Bays. Mattress and box spring are separate charged items. Refrigerant equipment has its own receiving charge and preparation. These resident entries do not establish that every paid load receives the same benefit.

Send the actual appliance model, connections, weight and condition. Suitable technical disconnection, installation and regulated refrigerant work require separate appropriate arrangements. Receiver instructions may require appliance-door preparation. Carrying a unit from a room does not prove that hazardous contents or refrigerant have been removed.

For a mattress, identify dimensions, quantity, contamination and the selected receiver's preparation. Ask the replacement seller about committed take-back, including carrying from the room. No generic statewide recycling promise makes the complete Southampton service free. Frames, toppers, loose bedding and infested or wet material need their own review.

Keep electronics and data separate from ordinary bulk

The current fee schedule identifies household electronics as a separate stream. Confirm the actual device, condition, quantity, operator and accepting site. A television differs from a refrigerator, and an unplugged product can still contain a battery or other special component. Do not conceal excluded contents inside another outgoing object.

For an office or estate, resolve ownership, leased equipment, retained records and data-bearing devices before carrying. Appropriate information handling, recycling receiving and ordinary moving labor are separate decisions. A device leaving a room does not establish repair, commissioning or secure data destruction.

Clean recycling also needs sorting. The Town green-bag page lists particular household paper, cardboard, cans, glass and plastic categories. Film, foam, dirty protection and mixed packaging need actual accepting instructions rather than a general recyclable label. A business delivery or paid pickup may have different terms from eligible resident material.

Leaves, brush and outdoor objects are different requests

The Village's Fall 2026 newsletter gives the leaf-cleanup period as November 2–December 28, 2026. Its preparation concerns leaves in appropriate neat piles or biodegradable paper bags. It excludes mixed garbage, grass, brush, pruning, construction remnants and other listed material. The leaflet is not an outdoor furniture or shed-clearance service.

The Village also restricts who may place leaf material in the right-of-way; a contractor cannot simply stage another person's pile there. Confirm the applicable property and programme before deciding set-out. Town receiving has separate leaf and brush conditions, including material, bag and vehicle distinctions. A Village leaf date does not authorize every paid yard load at a Town facility.

For a sold home, identify old outdoor furniture, a play structure, gym equipment or a shed separately from vegetation. Clarify ownership, condition, attachments and who authorizes work. Gardening, land clearance or dismantling a fixed structure requires separately agreed suitable work, rather than an automatic addition to household carrying.

Light repair remnants and used packaging need separation

Describe the origin, composition, quantity and contamination of small repair remnants. The Town code and current fee schedule distinguish resident construction delivery from commercial garbage-hauler access. Wood, gypsum, masonry, soil, painted material and chemicals can need different review. A small quantity does not erase a receiving or transport restriction.

Unknown building materials, asbestos, extensive demolition and contaminated products require a different qualified arrangement. Keep those contents outside the ordinary outgoing group until actual handling and receiving are established. A facility listing a material does not prove that every moving company offers the associated technical service.

Identify clean cardboard, paper, film, foam and dirty floor protection left after unpacking. Carton unpacking, putting contents away and removing used packaging are different tasks. Furniture unwrapping does not automatically include every remnant from a renovation or a garage clearance. Agree the actual scope and accepting streams before the visit.

Confirm the date, receiving window and access

The Town green-bag page lists ordinary receiving hours of 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m., with the fee scale closing at 3:30 p.m. North Sea and Hampton Bays ordinarily operate seven days; Sag Harbor and Westhampton close Wednesdays. Office hours differ. Confirm the actual site, load and current notice rather than assuming arrival before the gate closes settles weighing and admission.

The Town's current notice says Town offices and facilities close October 12, 2026 and reopen October 13. That notice does not establish that every private carter or another municipality follows the same calendar. Recheck the actual appointment and selected receiver before relying on a moving-day trip.

Village central-street loading limits, legal vehicle positioning and current traffic signs can affect access. A private driveway still needs permission and a usable route. Show gates, surfaces, steps, narrow turns and carrying distance. Residential collection timing in the Town waste code is a different issue from the receiving site's hours or permission for every moving task.

Household special-waste events are a separate route

The Town's 2026 STOP programme lists the next event on November 7 at Hampton Bays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. June and August dates have passed at this October 10 check. Confirm current eligibility, quantities and product conditions; the event is not an ordinary commercial furniture receiving route.

The visible 2026 flyer accepts particular chemicals and special products while excluding electronics, ordinary bulk, construction waste, used oil, latex paint and several battery or cylinder categories. The current fee schedule identifies different resident routes for paint, limited oil and empty twenty-pound propane cylinders. A cylinder still containing gas and an empty cylinder are different requests.

Vehicle batteries and rechargeable batteries should not be treated as one category. Name fuel, oils, paint, chemicals, cylinders, lamps, batteries, medical material and unknown contents before an estimate. Keep these separate from ordinary furniture and packaging until an appropriate qualified arrangement is established. An available truck or household address does not establish every load's eligibility.

Agree the list, authority and clear-by date

Separate retained, recipient-bound and removal items in writing. Empty furniture where appropriate, identify remaining preparation and preserve unresolved ownership, family papers and sold belongings. Disclose weight, connections, contamination, batteries and liquids before the estimate. An item added at loading can change receiving and cost, so keep it outside the agreed group until reviewed.

Confirm who authorizes access, the complete carrying route, legal vehicle position and accepting arrangement. Use packing services for useful belongings chosen to travel and storage for a defined future purpose or receiving gap. Compare the complete stand-alone and add-on estimates for the same list and deadline; deliberate removal avoids repeated carrying of things the next household does not need.

Southampton junk removal and disposal questions

Can removal save money before a Southampton move?

Compare removal and necessary replacement with avoidable preparation, carrying, shipment space, storage and later disposal. Keep useful and valued belongings, then agree inventory and scope changes. Excluding something does not automatically reduce an existing flat quote.

Does a Town green bag arrange furniture pickup?

The Town green-bag programme concerns ordinary household waste delivered to receiving sites. It is different from a bulky-item appointment. Confirm the actual property, carter, selected object, preparation and date before set-out.

Do Village and Town programmes cover the same address?

Southampton Village lies within the wider Town, but leaf programmes, facilities and property arrangements differ. A postal address alone does not establish eligibility. Identify the actual municipality, property and collector before choosing a route.

Is a moving-day add-on always cheaper?

It may avoid another dispatch when crew and vehicle are already onsite. Added labor, capacity, separation, receiving charges or another trip can remain necessary. Compare complete estimates for the same inventory and deadline.

Can an old television go with ordinary bulky furniture?

The current Town schedule identifies electronics separately. Confirm the actual device, condition, operator, vehicle and receiving site. Resident receiving benefits do not supply indoor labor or cover every paid truckload.

Should a spare dresser go into storage during downsizing?

Keep useful or valued furniture with a defined purpose. Review a committed recipient and the next home before comparing removal with repeated carrying and indefinite storage. Closed drawers still need contents and ownership checked.

Should unused garage storage travel across states?

Review future use, condition, contents and a committed recipient. Compare local removal and necessary replacement with avoidable preparation, shipment space and later disposal. Agree the final list rather than relying on a universal cubic-foot tariff.

What waste documentation matters before booking?

Establish Sterling’s actual tasks, the appropriately permitted actual hauling party, current required vehicle documents and accepting receiver. Town carter rules, resident admission and regulated-material requirements answer different questions; moving credentials do not establish every permission.

Is Southampton mattress receiving universally free?

The October 2026 Town schedule lists separate resident charges for each mattress and box spring at specified facilities. Preparation, condition, vehicle and operator matter. Gate charges are different from indoor carrying and complete private service.

Can the Village leaf programme take an old shed or toys?

The Fall 2026 leaf programme excludes mixed garbage, brush, construction remnants and other listed products. Outdoor equipment is different from vegetation. Dismantling a fixed structure needs separately agreed suitable work and property permission.

Can a commercial garbage hauler use a resident construction route?

The Town code and current fee schedule distinguish resident construction delivery from commercial garbage-hauler access. Identify material, source, operator and vehicle, then confirm the actual receiver before arranging the load.

Are Town facilities open October 12, 2026?

The current Town notice says offices and facilities close October 12 and reopen October 13. That does not establish every private carter’s calendar. Confirm the actual receiver, material and appointment date.

Does the next STOP event take every special product?

The visible 2026 flyer lists November 7 at Hampton Bays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m., with specific accepted and excluded products. Electronics, used oil, latex paint and battery or cylinder categories have different routes. Confirm actual eligibility and suitable qualified handling before booking.
