Pool Table Moving

Pool Table Moving

Move the pool table as an individually reviewed equipment project. Sterling Oakbridge plans the actual table, condition, carrying routes and receiving room, with disassembly, transport and any specialist setup responsibilities explicitly agreed.

Preparation, transport, leveling and cloth work are distinct stages. The actual model, warranty and specialist scope control the plan.

Exact construction

Model, bed and frame identified.

Two reviewed routes

Origin and destination access checked.

Playing space

The receiving position suits actual use.

Explicit setup

Assembly, leveling and cloth tasks assigned.

Plan the work

A table’s playing size does not describe the whole moving job.

Send manufacturer, model, outside dimensions, available instructions, photographs and known condition. Identify the playing-bed construction, whether slate is one piece or several where known, and the frame, rails, pockets, cloth and separate accessories. Do not guess construction from the table’s appearance.

Show both routes, including basement stairs, turns, narrow doors and the lawful loading position. At receiving, include the space around the table for actual play as well as its outside dimensions. A table that fits in a room can still leave insufficient cue clearance.

Disclose this item during a household survey, or send the same information for a separate or internal move. The actual specialist review determines preparation and handling; a short room-to-room distance does not establish that the assembled table can simply be carried intact.

Choose your scope

Name the result of each specialist stage.

Existing condition

Record cloth, rails, pockets, bed and frame concerns before preparation. Include previous repairs and missing components.

Reviewed disassembly

Agree what comes apart for the exact model and route, with components and hardware kept identified. Ordinary furniture assembly is not a substitute for the table’s specialist scope.

Protection and transport

The prepared components need suitable support and a workable carrying and vehicle plan. Price the actual load and access.

Receiving setup

Specify assembly, leveling and cloth-related work separately, including the responsible specialist, materials and readiness. Select a playable-table handover by naming assembly, leveling and any cloth work in the written specialist scope.

Plan the work

Review the manufacturer and specialist before authorizing changes.

Manufacturer requirements and warranty terms can affect who should prepare or set up the table. For example, Brunswick’s current warranty restricts installation and service to its authorized parties and addresses moving by other parties. That is a Brunswick example, not proof that Sterling is an authorized dealer or that every other brand has the same terms.

Agree whether existing cloth will be retained, whether a condition or disassembly makes replacement necessary, and who supplies and fits any new material. Refelting, cushion replacement, repair and tuning the table’s setup are not automatic additions to a moving quote.

Choose the final position before setup begins. A later room change can require new handling and specialist setup. Confirm any floor work is released for use and that the receiving route and workspace are available.

A workable sequence

From the first list to the receiving result.

  1. Identify construction

Supply exact model, condition, dimensions and bed/frame information.

  2. Review routes and final room

Show stairs and turns, then the playing space and intended position.

  3. Agree each specialist stage

Name preparation, transport, receiving setup, selected cloth work and responsible executor.

  4. Complete the agreed handover

Check identified components and condition, then have the specified specialist finish the selected setup.

Pool Table Moving questions

Practical answers about the work, preparation, price and receiving result.

Ask a coordinator
Do you move pool tables?

Yes, with the exact table, construction, condition and routes reviewed. The written scope identifies preparation, physical transport and any separately selected specialist receiving setup.

Can the table stay assembled?

Only the model and route review can establish the suitable method. Provide bed and frame information, outside dimensions and both routes. Do not assume an assembled carry merely because the destination is nearby.

Does moving include refelting?

Not automatically. Cloth condition, disassembly and the selected receiving result determine what is needed. Agree who supplies and fits any replacement, with the work and materials expressly quoted.

Will the table be leveled after delivery?

Leveling and receiving setup must be named in the specialist scope with the responsible executor. Physical transport alone does not establish those tasks or a universal playable-table guarantee.

Can it go into my basement game room?

The route and receiving space must be reviewed. Show stairs, turns, doors and the intended playing area; fit for the table itself does not establish cue clearance or a workable carrying method.

Could moving affect my manufacturer warranty?

Yes, some terms restrict who may move, install or service the table. Read the actual brand and model warranty before selecting the executor; Brunswick’s linked terms are one specific example, not a rule for every table.
