The Town collection page specifies early Tuesday pickup: put out only the two vendor-provided cans the night before; material outside them or in other cans is not picked up. The charge is 49.50 dollars per quarter. Brush pickup is first and third Mondays, branches 4 feet or less stacked neatly. Bulk is two scheduled days a year, two items per household; its exclusions include tires, wood, loose items, paint, chemicals, liquids, hazardous material and large electronics. Those are bulk-stream rules, not a claim that every separate disposal program rejects the item.
Town recycling is sorted drop-off at Public Works between Holly Road and Cedar Lane, with no curbside recycling. For a regional run, distinguish the MES homeowner facility at 11930 Holly Road, Ridgely from the paid landfill at 12236 River Road. Homeowner hours are Monday/Thursday/Saturday 7 a.m.–4 p.m. and Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., closed Sunday. The customer rules prohibit trailers of any kind and limit ordinary trash/brush to seven 32/33 gallon bags daily, or four 55 gallon bags; pickup-load rules are separate. Recycling is free during business hours. This is not unlimited free furniture or contractor disposal.
The paid landfill has fees and last-load cutoffs: weekdays 3:15 p.m., Saturday 12:15 p.m., closed Sunday. Call 410-634-9304 extension 10 before loading unusual, bulky or special items to confirm eligibility, acceptance and fees. The county’s listed October 3, 2026 hazardous event is already past; confirm a new date and accepted materials rather than treating it as an available drop-off. That program is for eligible residents of the four named counties, not businesses.
